ICM Employment Supports Program ICM @ Work

Creating opportunities and providing supports for people with disabilities to gain and maintain competitive employment

What is Employment Supports?

Employment Supports is a service designed to help people with disabilities find a job or career of their choosing and successfully perform the functions of the job. Many people with intellectual and developmental disabilities require a certain level of assistance with discovering their strengths, identifying the type of field they desire to work in, matching their strengths to the right job and employer, and navigating the demands of the job once employed. ICM Employment Specialists provide these supports to ensure that anyone with a disability who wants to work, can work.

What Makes ICM’s Employment Supports Program Different?

ICM believes that people with disabilities who want to work deserve the right supports to accomplish this goal. That is why ICM provides comprehensive employment services to individuals with disabilities seeking jobs in the community. Our agency customizes support services to fit the needs of our job seekers with a holistic approach. ICM helps its customers identify their own unique preferences, interests, needs and strengths that will lead to finding and keeping jobs in the community that they want and like. At ICM, there is no mandatory pre-vocational education or training required for a customer to be able to benefit from employment services – the only requirement is that he or she wants to work!
